Mirrors in the Dark

Mirrors in the Dark

Formally daring melodrama reveals the heart of Marie (Alena Doláková), a dancer who is frustrated with her broken long-term relationship, career in dance and life in general. Šimon Holý's debut feature film portrays the fear of mediocrity as well as mediocrity itself in an atmospheric collage that leaves us asking ourselves: should we continue doing things at which we are mediocre?
